![]() ![]() Save to Disk as an SVG, upload to Design Space, and change your operation to pen/foil.While these are highlighted, on the top menu bar open Object > Join Paths.On the right hand side menu, open your 'Objects' window & select everything.Select the whole design, and click 'Tools' from the top menu bar & check 'Edit'.Use the 'Freehand' Tool to draw your design.Set up an account with (You won't have the same options as Illustrator, but it's free!) Save as an SVG, upload to Design Space, and change your operation to pen/foil.Now you have a single line graphic that won't split up into little pieces when uploaded to Design Space.Top Menu Bar > Object > Compound Path > Make.Once you've finished your design, select the whole thing using the 'Selection Tool'.(Also change your Fidelity to 'Smooth' if you have a shaky hand like me!) Uncheck 'Close Paths' and 'Edit Selected Paths' - this allows you to draw freely without your paths merging.Hit 'Enter' on your keyboard to bring up the 'Pencil Tool Options' dialogue.Select your pencil tool, and make your first stroke.Open a new file in whatever size you need. This post is aimed at those who want to create their own graphics. Usually, if you upload an SVG or PNG of your image no matter how thin the lines are, it'll automatically outline them instead of just following the single line path. Hey!
